Second man arrested over post office robbery in Meath

The arrest was made after searches in Dublin this morning.

A SECOND MAN has been arrested in connection with the robbery of a post office in Enfield in Co Meath last Friday.

Gardaí arrested a 44-year-old man after a number of searches were carried out in the Coolock area of Dublin this morning.

He’s being held at Trim Garda Station.

A 19-year-old man appeared in court last week charged in connection with the robbery.

No shots were fired and no injuries were sustained.

Gardaí say that the investigation is ongoing.
