Stuck in a rut? Dreading Valentine's Day? Send us your questions...

Sex therapist Nuala Deering will be in the newsroom tomorrow to talk love, sex and relationships. Need some advice?

DREADED BY SOME, loved by others — there’s no getting away from the fact; Valentine’s Day is almost upon us.

For couples, it can sometimes be a minefield.

According to psychosexual therapist Nuala Deering:

“Sometimes these days can be a way of people ticking the box and not dealing with the big issues in a relationship.”

“You sometimes get people feeling that a partner brings out the big guns — the gifts or whatever, but that they aren’t really engaged otherwise.

If a partner isn’t bothering with a particular occasion it can be a sign that they’re switched off from a relationship too. Often you hear people talking about it very negatively.

Nuala will be dropping by our newsroom tomorrow afternoon for a chat — not just about Valentine’s Day, but to answer general questions on love, sex and relationships.

We’ll be streaming the Q&A, and live-blogging some of her answers.

So if you’re feeling mildly freaked out heading into the 14th — or if you’ve a bigger issue you’d like some advice on, do let us know.

daragh@thejournal.ie is the best place to send questions for the moment. You can also tweet us @thejournal_ie with any follow-ups or fresh queries, as the interview is happening.

Tune in from 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon for the Q&A.
