Man accused of harassing Sharon Ní Bheoláin to face court in February

He is also accused of possessing child pornography.

AN ARRAIGNMENT DATE has been set for a Dublin man accused of harassing RTÉ newsreader Sharon Ní Bheoláin and of possessing child pornography.

Conor O’Hora (40), of Heather Walk in Portmarnock, is to enter a plea at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 20 February next in relation to three alleged offences.

Mr O’Hora was sent forward earlier this month to the Circuit Court earlier this month after appearing at Dublin district court on three charges.

He was charged with harassing Ms Ní Bheoláin at various locations within the State from 20 October, 2013 until 16 February 2014. O’Hora is also charged with two counts of possessing child pornography in text communications and images during the same period.

O’Hora appeared today before Judge Martin Nolan.

There has been no garda objection to the bail conditions set out last October, which include O’Hora residing at his present address and having no contact “directly or indirectly” with anyone involved in the investigation.
