Man in Belfast shot in both knees and both ankles

Two men forced their way into a house in west Belfast this evening, police have said.

POLICE IN WEST Belfast are currently attending an incident in the Corrib Avenue area in which a man was shot multiple times in the knees and ankles.

At 6.50pm today, police said it is believe two men forced their way into a house and shot a man in his 30s “in both knees and both ankles”. He has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
