Six arrested in Michael Connors murder case

Gardaí in Wexford have arrested six people in relation to the death of 21-year-old Michael Connors last July.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of Michael Connors in Wexford in July have arrested six people.

One woman has since been released without charge.

The other five – three men and two women – remain in custody at New Ross, Wexford and Enniscorthy Garda Stations.

The six people, aged between 17 and 57, were arrested in Wexford and Wicklow this morning.

Connors died in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin on July 8 following an incident the previous month. A post mortem examination showed that the 21-year-old died as a result of head injuries.

Gardaí are now seeking witnesses to that event, which occured on the night of June 29/30 in Belvedere Grove in Wexford.

Gardai at Wexford Garda Station are specifically asking residents of Belvedere Grove, or anyone who was in the area shortly before midnight on June 29, to contact them on 053 9165200.
