This is what happens when kids and dogs see snow for the first time

SNOW DAY! SNOW ANGELS! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH………….

YOU KNOW THAT excitement you get when you realise the snow is sticking on the ground?

Imagine being a little kid having heard about this wondrous white stuff – from which snowmen friends could be fashioned – and then seeing it for the first time?

Imagine that kid has been living on the sun-drenched Cayman Islands for years.

Emma Rooney sent TheJournal.ie this video, with a short explanation:

“My sister returned with her family this year after living in the Cayman Islands for years. The result? My nephew never saw frost or snow before. He has been out in it since 7 o’clock this morning driving his grandad round the bend building snowmen.”

“His excitement has made my morning. Literally rolling around in the stuff!”

It’s not just children either who are a little confused. There are plenty of beautiful creatures out there experiencing these conditions for the first time, including Seán Carleton’s Dalmation Duke. Just eight months old, the beauty is enjoying her first rollick in the snow.
