maniac 2000

This Dublin school's holding early-morning raves to wake up its students

Side to side like you just don’t care.

manica

IT’S ACTIVE SHOOLS week around the country, and  St. Raphaela’s Secondary School in Stillorgan are getting well into it.

An early morning rave to the dulcet tones of Maniac 2000 got a good number of them out of bed for the 7.45am start, and the result is really quite uplifting and getting all the love on Facebook.

(Watch out for some teachers giving it socks too):

Deputy Principal Denise O’Down told DailyEdge.ie that girls from every year choose to come in early to take part.

She said they’ve had views from Dubai, Thailand and Australia, as well as from all around Ireland.

We monitored the effect it had on learning and teachers reported that students were more motivated, awake and ready to get straight into learning in class.

YEAH YEAH FUNKY YEAH!
