Man dies after stabbing at derelict Dublin pub

A group of men had been at the abandoned pub when the stabbing took place.

ONE MAN HAS been arrested after a man was stabbed to death in a derelict pub in Dublin’s north inner city last night.

The incident happened at the abandoned pub on North Wall Quay on the banks of the Liffey last night.

A group of men had been at the premises when the stabbing happened.

A man in his late 20s who also received stabbing injuries is being treated at the Mater Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The body of the victim, who is in his early 40s, remains at the scene. The State Pathologist is expected to attend shortly.

The arrested man, who is in his late 30s, is being held for questioning at Store Street Garda Station.
