IT’S THE 25TH anniversary of the founding of Childline this year, so the kids at Starcamp got together to raise money for the ISPCC service.

The result is this video for their cover of Solitaire, originally performed by Neil Sedaka (and made famous by the Carpenters).

The 110 children featured on Solitaire – A Song for Childline took part in Starcamp summer camps all over Ireland, meeting in Cork’s School of Music to record the final track.

The song is available from iTunes for 99c, and CDs will also be available in Tesco and Golden Discs. Starcamp say that all proceeds will go to Childline.
