Two teenagers arrested as 14-year-old boy dies in "firearms incident"

Police officers were called to an address at Thurston in Suffolk at 1.35pm today by emergency services.

POLICE IN SUFFOLK are investigating after a 14-year-old boy died in a suspected firearms incident.

The BBC reports that two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and are currently in custody.

Police officers were called to an address at Thurston in Suffolk at 1.35pm today by emergency services who were treating the boy who had life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in a critical condition. He died soon after.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said that they believed there had been a discharge of a firearm and that they were investigating the circumstances around the incident.
