Two suspicious objects found in separate locations in the North

The areas are sealed off and road users are advised to alternative routes away from the affected areas.

THE POLICE IN Northern Ireland are in attendance and two incidents in Armagh and Down following the discovery of two suspicious objects.

Due to the ongoing security alert, Sloan Street in Lurgan, County Armagh is closed in both directions and motorists should seek alternative routes.

Police are also currently in attendance at a security alert in the Church Road area of Holywood in County Down in a separate incident.

Church Road is closed at its junction with Brooke Street and Church View.

The Ammunition Technical Officer has been sent to the scene.

There are no further details at this stage.
