1 #SNOVEMBER: While most of the country escaped fresh snowfall last night, tonight could be a very different story, with up to 8 inches being forecast for Dublin. Other parts of Leinster could get between 4 and 6 inches, while the cold spell is expected to continue across Ireland throughout this week.

2. #SMALL DÁIL: Performance artist Will St Leger has delivered a “small Dáil” to Kildare St and served an eviction notice on the Irish government. The notice cites alleged offences including “economic treason”, “colluding with developers”, and “damaging the reputation of the Republic of Ireland”.

3. #ANGLO: The governor of the Central Bank, Patrick Honohan, has indicated that Anglo could cease to exist within a matter of weeks.

4. #PICASSO: 271 undocumented works by Picasso have been found in France after a retired electrician revealed the collection, saying the artist had given them to him as gifts.

5. #CHURCH ABUSE: Der Spiegel in Germany is reporting that Pope Benedict allowed a priests suspected of being a paedophile to continue working with children while the pope was Archbishop of Munich and Freising.
