Two men were arrested and have since been released.

GARDAÍ TARGETING CRIMINAL activity in the Dublin area have seized drugs, cars and a gun in Tallaght.

A search was conducted as part of an intelligence led operation at an industrial unit in the Cookstown Industrial Estate yesterday morning.

During the search, cannabis herb and cocaine with an estimated street value of up to €28,000 was recovered along with a firearm. Four cars that were believed to be stolen were also seized.

A 29-year-old man and 39-year-old man were both arrested at the scene and detained at Tallaght Garda Station.

They were both released without charge late last night and a file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions. Gardaí said the investigation is ongoing.
