Man charged after shotgun and ammo found in Tallaght house

A MAN HAS been charged after a shotgun and ammunition were seized from a house in Tallaght yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí in Tallaght seized the items after carrying out the search of a house in Rossfield Park in Tallaght at around 4pm yesterday.

A woman in her 30s was arrested at the house and was held for questioning under the Offences Against the State Act at Tallaght Garda Station. She was later released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

A second person, a 37-year-old man, was arrested in the Tallaght area last night and appeared at Dublin District Court this afternoon charged in connection with the incident.
