Appeal for information after Dublin man (24) shot in car

The man was injured in a shooting in the Park West area of Tallaght yesterday.

GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED for information about a shooting in Tallaght, Dublin, yesterday.

A 24-year-old man presented himself to Tallaght Hospital with a gunshot wound following the incident in the Parkhill West area.

Gardaí said a number of shots were fired from a silver VW Passat at a 06-D blue Mazda 3 with two male occupants.

The driver of the vehicle, who is believed to originally be from Clondalkin, managed to drive to hospital despite his injuries, which have been described as serious but not life threatening.

The passenger of the car was unharmed.
