Teen charged with attempted murder after stabbing

The arrest is in connection with a stabbing at a house in Co Antrim.

A TEENAGER HAS been charged with attempted murder, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The male, aged 18, is expected to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.

The charges are in connection with an incident in the Scally Park area of Loughguile in Co Antrim yesterday afternoon.

Police received a report yesterday that a man had been stabbed at a house in the area.

Following this, a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for a stab wound to his arm and shoulder.
