Teenager hospitalised after being stabbed in Dublin yesterday evening

The 19-year-old man received a number of stab wounds when he was attacked in Crumlin.

A 19-YEAR-OLD has been hospitalised after being stabbed in Crumlin yesterday evening.

It happened at St Agnes Park at around 7.30pm.

It’s understood that he was attacked by a group of up to 10 people armed with knives and golf clubs.

Gardaí at Crumlin say they are investigating a serious public order incident and assault.

The 19-year-old man received a number of stab wounds and was taken to St James Hospital, his injuries are described as not life threatening.

The scene was examined but no arrests have been made and officers say investigations are continuing.

It comes after a man in his 30s was set upon by a group of youths at Crane Lane in Temple Bar over the weekend. They stabbed the man and stole his phone.
