Man hospitalised after shooting in Termonfeckin

The incident comes just days after a million-euro drugs seizure in the village.

GARDAÍ IN LOUTH are investigating a shooting in Termonfeckin which has left one man in hospital.

Multiple shots were fired at The Paddocks estate in the village at about 9.30pm last night.

The scene has been preserved.

The victim is currently receiving treatment in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Last week, gardaí from the drugs unit seized €1.3 million worth of cannabis from a yard in Termonfeckin.
