1.#TAX PROBLEMS: The European Commission has announced that it will officially probe whether or not Ireland broke rules on state aid as part of its tax deal with Apple. The probe could cost jobs, it was warned.

3.#CORK AIR CRASH: The inquest into the deaths of six people in an aeroplane crash at Cork Airport has ruled that the deaths were accidental.

4.#CHILD ABUSE: The latest report by the Child Care Law Reporting Project reveals that a father of a “very young” child was arrested as he prepared to sexually abuse her on a web cam.

5.#ARRESTS: Two men have been arrested in connection with the deaths of two Dublin men. The bodies of Anthony Keegan and Eoin O’Connor, both from Coolock in north Dublin, were found on 26 May on a small island in Lough Sheelin — a lake on the border between Cavan and Meath.
