5. #PUSSY RIOT: One of the jailed members of Russian punk band Pussy Riot, Maria Alyokhina, has been freed from prison after receiving an amnesty.

6. #ABUSE: Entertainer and TV presenter Rolf Harris is to face more child sex abuse charges including one of indecent assault on a girl under the age of nine.

7. #MENTAL HEALTH: Awareness of mental health issues should be be targeted more towards teenage boys according to researchers at two Irish universities.

8. #IPHONE: Apple will have access to an additional 760 million potential customers after signing a deal with the world’s largest carrier China Mobile, reports the BBC.

9. #SUDAN: Despite international peace efforts, South Sudan’s army has said that it was poised for a major offensive against rebel forces, as the country slides towards civil war according to AFP.
