1. #IRISH WATER: The CEO of Irish Water, John Tierney, who appeared before the joint Oireachtas Environment Committee yesterday, will be back in Leinster House this evening to answer more questions on Irish Water’s finances.

2. #MISSING: Minister Brendan Howlin has said there are “good efforts under way right now” to find documents related to the bank guarantee that have been lost by the Department of Finance.

3. #MURDER: A jury has been told that Daniel McDonnell, who went on trial yesterday for the murder of Melanie McCarthy, wrote graffiti on his cell wall bragging about the killing, reports The Herald.

4. #ARREST: Two teenagers have been arrested in Dublin in relation to an aggravated burglary which took place in the early hours of this morning.

5. #SPIRE: Dublin City Council is considering renaming Dublin’s Millenium Spire after the late Nelson Mandela.
