THE STAFF AND residents of Gormanston Wood nursing home in Co Meath were decorating for Christmas when we decided to pop over for a visit.

We asked residents about their memories of Christmas growing and what they think about Christmas now.

“It was extremely exciting,” said one resident. “We’d fly down stairs in the morning and say ‘Oh Santy’s come, Santy’s come!’
