Third court appearance over Waterford death

A 38-year-old woman arrested yesterday is due in court this morning over Joe O’Brien’s death.

A 38-YEAR-OLD woman who was arrested in Waterford yesterday in connection with the death of Joe O’Brien is due to appear in court this morning.

O’Brien’s  remains were found at an apartment on William Street in the Scotch Quay area of the city on Monday night. A post-mortem found he died from head wounds.

The woman is the third person arrested in connection with the death of the 60-year-old.

A man, 47, and a woman, 39, have been charged in connection with the death.
