Three Dublin music venues close

Three popular music venues in Dublin have closed their doors this weekend.

MUSIC LOVERS IN Dublin have been dealt a blow this weekend, with the closure of three popular venues in the city.

This weekend, POD permanently closed both Crawdaddy and Tripod amid suggestions that the 24,000 sq st complex on Harcourt Street could be turned into a large nightclub, The Sunday Times revealed yesterday.

The Odeon bar, beside the POD complex, has also been closed, Nialler9 reports.

Meanwhile, the downstairs venue at the Lower Deck in Portobello has also shut down.
