Toddler spends three days with the body of his dead mother

It is understood this happened over last weekend.

A TODDLER IN the UK spent three days alone with the body of his dead mother before she was discovered, it has been reported.

This happened before Anneka Sherratt, 31, was found at her home on Savage Road in Plymouth in the south of England on Monday.

It is believed that she may have died on Friday, according to the BBC.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for Sharratt’s funeral costs and provide support for her son.

So far the page has raised almost £4,000 (€3,150) and a number of Sherratt’s friends have paid tribute to her.

Emma Louise Fowler is behind the page and states on it that Sherratt died on Friday 19 February but wasn’t discovered until the following Monday.

She describes Sharratt as a “very kind and friendly person” who would “help anyone out”.

Devon and Cornwall police have said that they were called to a property on Savage Road where the incident happened at 1.15pm on Monday.

They went on to say that a woman in her 30s was found in the property.

It is understood that the coroner is investigating the case but the cause of death is as of yet unclear.
