These are the top 10 Irish beaches for 2016

Kerry was the most popular county with four of its beaches making the list, but one Cork beach took the top spot.

TRIPADVISOR HAS ANNOUNCED the top 10 Irish beaches for 2016, with one Cork beach taking the top spot for the third year in a row.

The Travellers’ Choice Awards are based on user reviews over 12 months and Inchydoney beach near Clonakilty was once again voted number one.

Four beaches from Kerry featured on the list, while beaches in Clare, Donegal, Wexford, Galway and Dublin also got the nod.

Meanwhile, Grace Bay in the Caribbean’s Turks and Caicos got top spot in the list of the World’s Top 10 beaches.
