BOSNIAN POLICE TODAY confirmed they had found two Dutch children who were kidnapped in the Netherlands last year and arrested their former foster parents.

The siblings, whose age and identities were not disclosed, were found in a house near the northwestern town Banja Luka, local police spokeswoman Mirna Soja said.

They were immediately brought to the Dutch embassy in Sarajevo and both were in good health, Soja said.

The Dutch couple, who lost custody of the children in the Netherlands last October, have been arrested and will be extradited, Soja said.

Soja said the woman had both Dutch and Bosnian citizenship.
