Two released without charge after arrests over 'suspicious' Finglas death

The body of 29-year-old Vincent Maher was found at an apartment complex on Saturday morning.

TWO MEN HAVE been released from garda custody today following their arrests in connection with the death of Vincent Maher in Finglas at the weekend.

The body of the 29-year-old man was found on the road outside an apartment in the Spring Mount complex on Wellmount Road, on Saturday morning. It is understood that a party had taken place at the residence on Friday night.

Gardaí said his body was found in ‘suspicious circumstances’ and arrested two men in their 20s. They were both detained at Finglas Garda Station for questioning but have now been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
