LOOKING TO ADD to your car collection or just looking to buy a motor with a whole lot of history and a bit different from the norm? Well, how about a classic car?

Classic cars have a wonderful romance surrounding them and can bring a lot of motoring pleasure and admiring glances. So stand out from the crowd in one of these golden oldies. (Or if you’d like the looks but not the maintenance bill, we’ve got some classic style on a newer car too.)

We’ve rounded up some classic motors that are available to buy on DoneDeal now, from the dream car to the (slightly more) affordable.

1998 Asquith Limousine, £21,500

The Asquith is a soft-top seven-seat limousine styled to look like a car from the 1930s. It is a great combination of vintage style glamour and grace and modern luxury and safety. It is built on a Ford Transit engine, powered by a 2.5-litre diesel mated to an automatic gearbox. This would make a great wedding car as it is a great way to arrive to any event in style and comfort.

This stunning right-hand drive Citroën Traction Avant was built in the UK and is known as the Citroen ‘Light 15′. The interior is a wonderful mix of wooden dashboards and leather upholstery, which adds a touch of traditional luxury to the car and which is actually different to the French-built cars. The Traction Avant pioneered the mass production of vehicles with a unibody with no separate frame, front-wheel drive and four-wheel independent suspension – three groundbreaking features that are still in use today.

1981 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit, €13,950

The Silver Spirit was the model on which many other Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars were based. This 1981 example looks resplendent in its Ocean Blue coat, and has luxurious sheepskin rugs and elegant walnut veneers.

It has been lovingly maintained and cared for and comes with the original bill of sale, dealer name plate on inner door sill and a full service history and history file. This car really has a story to tell.

1972 Bentley T, €10,000

The luxury four-door saloon Bentley T-Series was produced from 1965 to 1980 and is basically the identical twin of the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, only a bit more understated.

This particular 1972 T1 wears an elegant coat of Peacock Blue metallic paint and comes with a black leather interior with a leather and wood dash trim. This posh motor is in lovely condition.

This small two-seat English sportscar is one very cool convertible, named in honour of the iconic WWII fighter plane. This particular 1979 example has just had its 80,000 mile manufacturer engine overhaul, is in great running order and is crying out to be driven. Preferably in the Cotswolds with the roof down while you are head-to-toe in tweed.
