Van and car search uncovers cannabis herb worth €250,000

The vehicles were stopped in Lusk, county Dublin this evening.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE criminal activity of a North Dublin gang have seized about €250,000 worth of cannabis herb.

The drugs were found during a search of a car and a van at Tooman in Lusk this evening.

Members of the Organised Crime Unit stopped the vehicles just before 8pm today and arrested three men, all aged in their 30s.

The suspects are currently being detained at Swords and Ballymun garda stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
