Gardaí warn drugs contained in missing jeep are 'extremely dangerous'

Veterinary drugs contained in a black Toyota Landcruiser taken in Galway yesterday are “not fit for human consumption”.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING A burglary and unauthorised taking of a black Toyota Landcruiser in Galway have warned that drugs contained inside the vehicle are “extremely dangerous”.

The black jeep, with a partial registration 131 CE, was taken from Dublin Road, Loughrea, yesterday between 1pm and 11pm.

The vehicle contained veterinary drugs including ketamine, xylazine and butorphanol which gardaí warn are “not fit for human consumption”.

Gardaí are continuing efforts to trace the vehicle and are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to contact them at Loughrea Garda Station on 091 842870, The Garda Confidential Line or any Garda station.
