FOOTAGE OF THE Germanwings crash site has been released by the French Interior Ministry.

The scale of the spread of detritus across the Alpine ravine is clear from the video.

80 victims of the crash have been identified using DNA prints. Investigators now have better access to the site, and hope that will help them quickly identify the rest of the 150 passengers who lost their lives.

It is believed that the plane’s co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, deliberately crashed the Germanwings plane into the French Alps. An investigation is underway.
