VISITING RESTRICTIONS AT Sligo General Hospital have been lifted having been in place over the Bank Holiday weekend following an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.
Restrictions were put in place last Thursday in attempt to stop the spread of the Norovirus.
Normal visiting hours have now resumed on all wards with visitors requested to adhere to the visiting times of 2pm – 4pm and 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
The hospital has also asked that anyone who may have symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea to refrain from visiting until these symptoms have cleared.
