YOU THINK YOU’RE brave? Well you’re not a patch on three-year-old Sofia Walker who did not back down even as a lion lashed out at her from behind a glass pane at a New Zealand zoo.

Staring intently at seven-year-old Malik the lion, young Sofia hardly flinched when the big cat scrapped his claws at the glass pane that separated the pair.

She told an interviewer afterwards: “I was brave.” Indeed she was and who are we to doubt her?
