A&E bursting at the seams , not nearly enough staff to safely give adequate care, moratorium on hiring But 220 million in first quarter wasted on agency staff who refuse to work in A&E departments. Reily needs to scrap the moratorium and hire the needed nursing staff which would cost a third of what’s wasted on agency staff. Open up the beds in hospital and relive the pressure on our frontline staff who continue to take the brunt of every self serving politicians agenda.

As Minister of Health it’s worse. 2 facts that don’t need clarification: MOH, share in Pte nursing home. No need to wait for statement to realise something dodgy. If he was in opposition he’d be be dancing with temper. Hypocrites!!!

Croke park needs to be scrapped and redone where all the guys at top have there pensions and wages slashed,doing this would go along way to protecting frontline services…..

I’d scrap croke park,that’s the big elephant in the room,220 mill deficit,consultants advisors making a fortune,I’d sack half them and cut the rest wages in half and then use some of the savings on frontline staff ie nurses,pay them better and hire more and I’d do that with all departments
