Poll: Do you trust the weather forecast?

Most complaints received by Met Éireann this year were in relation to the forecast being inaccurate.

IRELAND’S WEATHER IS a constant topic that’s never far from the spotlight – so when forecasters get it wrong, they often hear about it.

Documents released to TheJournal.ie under the Freedom of Information Act reveal that over a ten-month period, 112 complaints were made to Met Éireann between 1 September 2015 and 1 July 2016.

Most of the complaints were in relation to the weather forecast being inaccurate.

So today we’re asking, do you trust the weather forecast?
