hooray for autumn

Great news if you like good weather ... the weekend forecast is pretty nice

It’s nice and clear across the country – and that’s set to continue.

IF YOU HAVE plans to get out and about this weekend the weather looks like it will co-operate, for the most part.

Pretty much the whole country has woken up to a bright and sunny start with most places expected to remain dry for the day. Temperatures are also set to be relatively mild for this time of year with highs of between 14 to 17 degrees.

Met Éireann says that, although more clouds will appear throughout the afternoon, there’ll only be the odd light shower in the west and north of Ireland.

Tomorrow will be a dry day countrywide with some cloud about but good sunny spells for most areas.

Cloud will increase in the west later in the afternoon but these will only bring patchy drizzle to Atlantic areas in the evening. Temperatures will be similar to today.

The outlook for Sunday is more changeable and is predicted to be rather cloudy but dry apart from some patchy drizzle or light rain in western coastal counties.
