What does the cockpit of a space shuttle look like?

The space shuttle Endeavour flew its last mission in May 2011. Here’s what it looks like on the inside.

THE SPACE SHUTTLE Endeavour was the fifth and final spaceworthy NASA shuttle to be built, flying its last mission in May 2011.

Right now, it’s sitting at the Kennedy Space Centre in Cape Canaveral in Florida, waiting to be moved to a science centre in California later this year where it will be put on display.

These photos, taken on Friday, show the pilot’s seat in the cockpit of the space shuttle. You’d have to be careful not to press the wrong button…
