A MAN HAS been arrested following an incident in which a woman was seriously assaulted in Rialto, Dublin over the weekend.
A 28-year-old woman is being treated for serious head injuries at a Beaumont Hospital after she was assaulted at a house on Reuben Walk during the early hours of Sunday morning.
A man in his 20s was arrested yesterday and is being detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Kevin Street Garda station.
The scene of the assault is being preserved for technical examination.
