Woman wins money on two ITV game shows within an hour of each other

Some people get all the luck.

VIEWERS IN THE UK have been left puzzled after seeing a game show contestant appear on two different programmes within an hour of each other.

In quick succession the contestant known as Marilyn popped up on Stephen Mulhern’s afternoon show Pick Me!, before making an appearance as Mal on Tipping Point.

The first programme was broadcast at 3pm with the second show going out at 4pm.

The woman was successful in her bid on both programmes, taking home a total of £4,400 (€6,170).

Twitter users were quick to spot the woman popping up, and rather than put it down to some snag in the matrix, commenters quickly started speculating about an actress being used.

While everybody loves a bit of intrigue, ITV were quick to sweep in and clarify what was happening.

The channel told the Metro that the programmes were made by two different production companies and that the episodes were filmed two weeks apart.
