3,000 cannabis plants found in Wexford house

Gardaí say the plants have an estimated street value of €400,000.

GARDAÍ IN WEXFORD have seized a quantity of cannabis following a search at a house in Crefogue, Enniscorthy yesterday afternoon.

No arrests were made.

Over 3,000 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €400,000 were discovered when the property was searched at around 4pm.

Equipment for the cultivation of cannabis was also seized during the garda operation.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information regarding the discovery to contact Enniscorthy Garda Station on 053 9242580.
