EVERY WEEKDAY EVENING, TheJournal.ie brings you the five things you need to know before you head out the door.

1. #COURTS: Two men have been found guilty of the murder of Limerick businessman Roy Collins who was shot dead in the city in 2009. Wayne Dundon and Nathan Killeen were given mandatory life sentences by the Special Criminal Court this afternoon.

2. #SPOTLIGHT: The United Nations has heard that Ireland has ‘no solution’ to the problem of women being unable to afford to travel overseas to undergo a termination for medical reasons.

3. #GAZA: The death toll in Gaza has risen to 193 as Israel renewed its air attacks after a failure to implement a peace deal.

4. #EVERY DAY I’M SHUFFLIN’: Eight promotions, three people staying put, one moving, and five TDs dropped: the Government has confirmed its new line-up of junior ministers. Here are 7 useful things to know about the reshuffle.

5. #DON’T MENTION THE G WORD: In case you haven’t had enough of the Garth Brooks debacle over the past week, Dublin City Council boss Owen Keegan was brought before TDs and Senators today to answer questions about what went wrong.
