HOUSE-HUNTING? HERE are five properties in the Dublin 6/6w area that are open for viewing this weekend.

The area – which includes popular residential areas like Templeogue, Terenure, Rathmines, Ranelagh and Dartry – is an attractive proposition for buyers who want to be in close proximity to the city centre. While years ago, many of the period homes in the area were converted into flats, this trend has well and truly reversed as families saw the potential of a spacious family home in such prime locations.

Upward price trends inevitably followed but with the levelling out of prices in today’s market, these areas are once again more affordable and present great value for money in an area on a par with Dublin 4. Read more about the area here.
