1. #MEETING: Ministers from around the world are meeting in Paris this morning to discuss how to defeat Islamic State.

2. #PENALTY POINTS: High ranking Gardaí and whistleblower Sgt Maurice McCabe will meet later today after new claims that Gardaí are still canceling penalty points.

3. #POTENTIAL: Ireland could free up to 24,000 hospital beds and save between €2 million and €7 million by letting stroke patients out early.

4. #INVESTIGATION: A “small number” of Gardaí are being investigated for their behaviour on personal social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter.

5. #LAID TO REST: The funeral of Ian Paisley will take place today, it will be held in private with immediate family only. A public memorial service will be scheduled for later in the year.

6. #COURT: A man is due in court this morning after guns and €250,000 worth of drugs were found in two houses in Tallaght.

7. #CONSTITUTION: The Department of Justice has stated that a referendum to establish a new dedicated Family Court is not necessary.

8. #GET THINKING: The think-ins of Labour and Fianna Fáil will both start today. Labour is holding a two-day meeting in Wexford while Fianna Fáil will hold its meeting in Roscommon.

9. #NEW TREATMENT: A new radiation treatment could lengthen the lives of those suffering from small-cell lung cancer.
