GARDAÍ IN TIPPERARY have charged two people in connection with an aggravated burglary that happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A man in his 60s, a woman in her 60s and a man in his late teens were in the house at the time.

While the woman was uninjured, the other two were taken to South Tipperary General Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

They have since been charged and were due to appear before Clonmel District Court at 10.30am this morning.
