Man's body found in south Dublin river by passer-by

A garda investigation has been launched.

GARDAÍ IN SOUTH Dublin are investigating after the body of a man was found in a river by a member of the public this morning.

The man’s body was spotted by a passer-by in the River Dodder at about 10am this morning and the individual informed gardaí.

Gardaí attended the scene and the man’s body was removed from the river with the assistance of Dublin Fire Brigade.

The scene has been preserved and an investigation led by gardaí in Rathfarnham has been launched.
