SPECTATORS AT THE Bray Air Display were treated some some pretty spectacular feats of flying this afternoon.

For many a highlight of the event was a display by the Patrouille Suisse, the acrobatic flying branch of the Swiss Airforce.

Flying in formation with the group for part of their display was Aer Lingus pilot Capt. Paul Scully.

One Twitter user managed to capture some of the acrobatics first hand.

This followed a good start to the day for one young couple.

Noel decided to use the day that was in it to propose to his girlfriend Ciara with a giant banner strapped to the back of a plane.

“Ciara will you marry me, Noel” flew across the blue sky over Bray today.

What did she say?

Bray Air Display said congratulations are in order.
