Woman charged with being drunk and disorderly after climbing Buckingham Palace gates

A WOMAN HAS been arrested after trying to climb the front gates at Buckingham Palace in London.
Jessica Davey, 35, of Ilbert Street in Ladbroke Grove, north-west London, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at the palace yesterday at around 5.40pm.
She was quickly detained by police officers before she gained access to the palace grounds.
She was originally arrested on suspicion of trespassing and brought to a central London police station.

Davey will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates Court tomorrow.
