GARDAÍ HAVE REVEALED new details about a shocking sexual assault on a woman in October this year, ahead of a renewed appeal on Crimecall tonight.
The attack took place at 7.30am on 18 October in Carpenterstown Park in Dublin as the woman took a short cut to work.
A man came up behind her and put a belt around her neck. He then threatened and beat her.
She eventually managed to get away from her attacker and has since worked with gardaí to create a composite drawing of him.
Tonight, Crimecall will reconstruct the attack and give up to date information in the hope that someone will provide them with new details that could help catch this man.
The show airs at 10pm on RTÉ 1 tonight.
