CCTV FOOTAGE RELEASED today shows the shocking moment a man was knocked down by a double-decker bus in England.

The man was filmed on CCTV as he crossed the road on Gun Street in Reading at around 9am on Saturday when he was struck down by a Reading Bus.

He was able to get back on his feet after he was hit by the bus.

Reading Buses communications manager Jake Osman said the pedestrian did not suffer any major injuries.

“We are obviously shocked by the incident as well as the very graphic footage that has been shared a number of times,” Osman said.

He confirmed that the matter is currently under ongoing internal investigation, along with an investigation by the police.

“We can assure the public that all our drivers are incredibly professional and trained to the highest standard,” he said.

We send our regrets to those affected, especially the pedestrian injured in the street and hope that he is recovering from his injuries.

No arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
